What I Learned After 30 Days of Technical SEO

Objective:

Build a technically strong SEO foundation from zero and document what genuinely impacts crawlability, indexing, and rankings.

What I Worked On :

Started with a full site audit.
Fixed crawl errors, cleaned broken links, optimized robots.txt, and properly structured the XML sitemap.
Improved URL structure and removed unnecessary redirects.

Week 2 – Core Web Vitals & Speed
Compressed images, reduced unused CSS/JS, improved caching, and optimized mobile responsiveness.

Week 3 – On-Page & Structure Optimization
Rebuilt heading hierarchy (H1–H6).
Improved internal linking strategy.
Optimized meta titles and descriptions based on keyword intent.
Removed thin and duplicate content.

Week 4 – Indexing & Authority Signals
Fixed canonical issues.
Strengthened internal anchor distribution.
Improved schema implementation.
Submitted updated sitemap and monitored Search Console for indexing improvements.

What Actually Worked:

• Clean internal linking improved crawl depth
• Better page speed reduced bounce rate
