Goal To successfully plan, execute, and optimize a Sponsored Video campaign for Amazon Prime Video on the Amazon Ads platform, ensuring 100% QA compliance, budget integrity, and data-driven performance improvements.

What I Did?

Campaign Architecture: Built a detailed campaign setup for a ₹50,000 budget targeting a specific 18–35 demographic in Indian metro cities.

Quality Assurance: Developed a 12-point QA checklist featuring specialized checks for time-zone mismatches and localized asset compliance (e.g., non-English subtitles).

Crisis Management: Led troubleshooting for simultaneous global issues, including a 30% overspend in the US market and a delivery failure (zero impressions) in LATAM.

Stakeholder Communication: Drafted high-stakes updates for Seattle-based stakeholders to provide transparency and reassure them of resolution timelines during critical outages.

Data Analysis & Insights: Synthesized a 7-day performance dataset to identify CTR trends, analyze performance dips (e.g., Day 3 anomalies), and recommend strategic next steps.

 

Challenges and Learning

Operational Resilience: Developed strategies to maintain high accuracy and focus during back-to-back night shifts, utilizing Pomodoro cycles and optimized sleep hygiene.

Balance of Speed & Detail: Learned to manage a natural "attention to detail" by implementing time-boxing to ensure thoroughness without sacrificing delivery speed.

Effective Delegation: Recognized the importance of delegating tasks with full context to focus on high-priority troubleshooting while maintaining overall ownership.

Resource Constraints: Mastered the ability to provide value-driven reports to clients even when limited by real-time dashboard access.

 

Result/Outcome

Risk Mitigation: Successfully stabilized an overspending campaign by identifying root-cause errors in the QA tracker and pausing settings to prevent further financial loss.

Performance Optimization: Identified key conversion drivers and hypothesized causes for performance fluctuations, leading to actionable growth recommendations.
