Built EigenCloud’s developer community from 0 to 1

Why build a community?

Eigen was a deeply technical product. A single campaign/event/workshop could create awareness, but it wasn’t enough to help developers understand the product and build on top of it.

So instead of treating every activation as a one-time interaction, I decided to build a home for developers.

We initially called it Coordinated, and later EigenTribe.

I also built the entire operational backbone around it: onboarding funnels, community channels, documentation, recurring calls and rituals, member tiers, contribution systems, and trackers for active members, leads, and follow-ups.

I regularly coordinated with members, connected them with the right teams and opportunities, supported their projects, tracked their progress, and created clear pathways for them to participate through bootcamps, content, events, and community-led initiatives.

It later became the distribution layer for us helping us with activations, content generation, events organisation, partnerships and much more.

Results:

  • 1K+ members organically
  • Members converted into builders, creators, contributors, and event hosts
  • A repeatable pipeline for developer acquisition and activation

PS: Eigen pivoted later from a infra product to consumer/SAAS, which is why the community was turned into an official private channel for existing folks
