Product Case Study of AI in Recruitment Workflows

The objective of this project was to analyze the AI recruitment market and design a product solution focused on AI-powered candidate screening to solve hiring inefficiencies. The project involved studying market size, growth trends, user pain points, and competitive gaps, and then conceptualizing a product called “HireLens” that enables bias-safe, explainable AI shortlisting with end-to-end workflow automation. It took around 1–2 weeks to complete, including market research, competitive analysis, product strategy development, and defining metrics, user journeys, and go-to-market plans. I used tools and methods such as secondary research, product frameworks, JTBD thinking, and strategic analysis. This was an independent product case study created to build hands-on experience in product thinking and AI applications in HR tech. For a similar research-driven product strategy project, I would typically charge around ₹12,000–₹20,000 depending on depth and scope.
