The objective of this project was to conduct a heuristic and UX laws–based analysis of an AI-powered navigation and discovery product to evaluate its overall usability and user experience. The project involved mapping end-to-end user journeys to identify issues related to trust, cognitive load, and information clarity that could impact decision-making during navigation. I applied UX heuristics, design principles, and behavioral UX laws to systematically evaluate interface elements, interaction flows, and feedback mechanisms. Based on the analysis, I proposed data-backed UX improvements aimed at enhancing user trust, reducing mental effort, and enabling safer, clearer navigation experiences. This was an independent UX case study completed to strengthen my skills in usability evaluation, user journey analysis, and product experience design.
