To understand JoinArena.ai, a two-sided AI-driven talent marketplace, and design effective outbound outreach strategies for both applicants and employers — driving platform adoption, lead generation, and conversions on both ends of the marketplace.

What I did?
Explored JoinArena.ai as a user to analyze its product flow, core features, and differentiators versus Mercor.io.
Identified key value propositions for both talent (AI video interview, RAG-enabled profiles, global exposure) and employers (semantic search, vetted talent pool).
Designed dual outreach strategies:
Applicant Side: Built campaign sequences leveraging WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and email with conversion-focused messaging (“Get hired by global tech teams in 3 steps”).
Employer Side: Created ICP-based segmentation for startups and recruiters hiring tech roles; developed personalized email frameworks and multi-channel touchpoints.
Prepared deliverables — product analysis notes, outreach strategy document, employer leads sheet, and a 7-minute video presentation.
Challenges and learning:
Balancing communication tone for two audiences — B2C (talent) and B2B (employers) — required distinct storytelling and CTA structures.
Learned how to structure cold outreach sequences (Agoge-style) and multi-channel cadences using HubSpot workflows and LinkedIn drip touchpoints.
Understood the importance of strategic positioning in a competitive market like AI-driven recruiting.
Result/Outcome
Delivered a 3-part submission showcasing deep product understanding, actionable outbound strategies, and lead generation frameworks. Proposed measurable outreach outcomes — increased applicant onboarding and higher employer response rates. Strengthened my skills in growth strategy, B2B SaaS outreach, and marketplace marketing.
